We’re currently seeking compassionate and reliable Domestic Assistants to provide vital home support services to our valued veteran clients. What We Offer Day shifts only – no evenings or weekends Competitive hourly rate plus casual loading Supportive and approachable management A values-driven, collaborative team culture Meaningful work that positively impacts veterans’ lives Gifts for your birthday and each year of service Company Culture Engagements Activities Regular catch-ups with your leader Access to accredited learning and development opportunities What You’ll Be Doing Providing high-quality cleaning and household support services Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas Managing laundry: washing, drying, folding, and ironing Changing bed linen and making beds Assisting with light kitchen duties (dishes, wiping surfaces, emptying bins) Conducting basic unaccompanied grocery shopping (if required) Communicating respectfully and professionally with clients Reporting any changes in clients’ home environments or wellbeing What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for helping others and pride in delivering high-quality cleaning and other domestic assistance services. Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic A desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veteran clients Previous experience in domestic work or aged care (preferred but not essential) A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one Must have work rights in Australia Must be willing to travel around the Townsville area.
