Bring your mechanical skills and take your career to the next level Join Our Team as a Machine Operator / Line Setter We are currently seeking experienced Line Setters to join our team at NCI Packaging. As a Line Setter, you will play a critical role in running our General Line & Aerosol Assembly lines, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. Why Work With Us? As a Line Setter, you will have the chance to showcase your skills and experience while contributing to our continuous improvement efforts. Key Duties and Responsibilities Safely and efficiently run the production line/finishing area, meeting quality specifications. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly safety checks and promptly report any concerns or incidents. Take immediate action to resolve quality issues and manage internal scrap. Organise tasks in the finishing area, including palletising, labelling, QA testing, and rework. Ensure the line operates accurately and efficiently, minimising downtime. Collaborate with the warehouse team for required product and components. Lead and support process workers to achieve the daily production plan. Carry out operator TPM tasks and record all necessary data accurately. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance work area efficiency. Attend daily production meetings and contribute to team success. Take a collaborative and teamwork‑oriented approach in all activities. Job Specific Requirements Experience making cans is highly desirable, including general line cans in sizes ranging from 1 L to 25 L and aerosol cans. Experience in metal manufacturing or the packaging industry is highly desirable. Demonstrated manufacturing experience with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Strong mechanical aptitude; trade or engineering qualification is highly desired. Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and understand production orders. Proficiency operating production equipment and conducting quality measuring and testing procedures. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges. Computer literacy, including familiarity with SAP and MS Teams.
