Client Our client is a leading residential builder, known for their multiple awards & delivering bespoke custom homes. Due to their continued success and growth they have a rare opportunity for an Estimating Manager to join their business as key member in their leadership team. The Opportunity Reporting to and working alongside the operations manager, your responsibilities will include: Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, training and support. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Adapt the industry-leading pricing strategy, and implement new processes to assist efficiency and productivity. Develop and analyse data to identify Cost and Margin trends & identify opportunities for ongoing improvement. Create & present reports to management regarding the performance, outcomes & achievements of the estimating team inline with the business margins & timeframes. Managing team workflow & amending to suit company's forecast requirements. Critical ETS analysis and reporting, contract forecasting and margin analysis. Assisting in the implementation of new suppliers and subcontractors with the Procurement Team. Assisting in system, process, VPB and database updates and maintenance. About you To be a successful Estimating Manager in this role: Must have experience in residential KDR for a volume builder. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Extensive experience in residential estimation both Production and Sales estimation. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Previous experience as an Estimating Manager / Team leader in a residential setting highly desired. You will be a driven individual with leadership qualities and the desire to manage a team. You'll have relevant qualifications in Residential Building OR Diploma in Building studies OR Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying (desired). What's in it for you?
