Salesforce Solution Architect - South Bank, QLD Flight Centre Travel Group is inviting applications for the Senior Solution Architect role within our Corporate Travel industry team. As we continue to evolve a recently rebuilt Salesforce instance serving 5000+ users globally (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and integrated solutions), you will help elevate our organisation to the next level. On-site requirement : This role is on-site in Brisbane; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Brisbane. What you will be doing Provide comprehensive architectural guidance, ensuring Salesforce capabilities align with strategic business goals Lead the Corporate Centre of Excellence to ensure consistency and excellence across the ecosystem Collaborate with external system integrators and internal technical teams (developers, QA, tech admins) to design world-class solutions Support and enforce governance standards, design principles, DevOps processes, and best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem Evaluate ongoing Salesforce releases, new features, and third-party solutions to drive continuous improvement and innovation Transition externally led projects from implementation partners to internal ownership Partner with the CRM product team and architecture community to ensure cohesive enterprise architecture and data flows Collaborate with Product teams to design solutions with a healthy backlog ready for development Apply Agile methodology to translate design into small deliverables Use design tools (e.g., Figma) to create mockups and align Product and Engineering on prototype solutions Create and maintain technical documentation for our solutions Support and collaborate on integration strategies with other internal systems, including customer master data management, ensuring a unified data model What you will need Essential 7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce solution design, including at least one multi-cloud implementation (Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud) Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions Experience managing integrations with legacy or third-party systems Track record of working with system integrators or professional services on complex deployments Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for Salesforce Experience implementing solutions using Agentforce to automate and improve productivity Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to maximise value from current assets Desirable Bachelor’s degree in a related field Additional certifications related to integration or architecture (e.g., Data Architecture & Management Designer) Salesforce Certifications (mandatory) Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Salesforce Certified Application Architect Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect Salesforce Certified Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect Salesforce Certifications (preferred) Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist Salesforce Certified System Architect Please outline certifications achieved in your application What you will enjoy Culture: Great place to work – Flight Centre Travel Group Australia Equal Opportunity Employer; inclusive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and diverse groups Development: Access to LinkedIn Learning with extensive courses Exclusive Staff Discounts and travel benefits Flexible working options; weekdays with flexible options Career opportunities across a global network; internal promotion encouraged Health discounts through partner providers Social events and opportunities to attend global conferences Please note: applications are open to candidates based in Australia with the right to work without visa sponsorship.
