Responsibilities Read blueprints/instructions and examine surface to determine the kind and amount of work necessary. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. Apply paint to silos walls and structures and protect surrounding areas. Make assessment on paint color, mix and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools. Remove previous paint using an number of methods to prepare surfaces. Use different tools and brushes to apply paint with attention to details. Support other team members to ensure completion of projects on time and according to specifications. Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures. Skills and Attributes Minimum 2 years of experience. Relevant Qualifications. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and power tools. Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities. Able to work efficiently with and without supervision.
