Peoplewise Consulting Limited – Elizabeth SA We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable lead to start ASAP for one of our valued clients located north of the CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established large South Australian employer experiencing growth and expansion. These roles will play a vital role supporting the accounting team with high volume AP and accounts support. The Position The Accounts Payable team members will be working in a dedicated accounts and finance team using an ERP system and will be focused on supplier reconciliations and supplier invoice processing. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving and a busy environment with variety then this would be ideal for you. Key Responsibilities Accounts payable processing end to end. Answer accounts payable queries with suppliers. Lead a small team. Prompt processing of invoices. Organise credit requests for discrepancies with suppliers’ invoices. Reconciliation of supplier accounts. Payment runs – prompt and month end payments (EOM) process. Filing all paid invoices and record keeping. Checking monthly supplier statements. Filling credit applications, getting approved and emailing completed forms. Generate reports required by Department managers. Provide administrative and finance support within the team. Who we are looking for This role is suitable for experienced Accounts Payable Officers or finance allrounders with a willingness to work in accounts payable in a dedicated capacity. You will be willing to learn and grow, think on your feet, have initiative to improve processes, strong computer aptitude, experience with larger ERP systems and outstanding communication skills. AP experience for a medium to large sized organisation. Strong data entry and reconciliation skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Proven high level of administrative capabilities.
