About the Role Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will focus on building and nurturing long‑term customer relationships in the retail truck sales sector. You will drive KPIs, build trust, and seek to exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Proactively reach out to potential customers, generating interest and following up on inquiries. Understand individual customer needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance their purchasing experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of our truck offerings and market trends to provide informed recommendations. Drive retail sales initiatives, upsell products and services, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Accurately maintain customer data and sales history in our software system for effective tracking. Oversee the truck delivery process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers taking ownership of their new vehicles. Provide ongoing post‑delivery assistance to address customer concerns, fostering loyalty. Uphold our dealership's core values in all interactions, creating a positive environment for customers and team members. About you We are looking for a balance between individual drive and teamwork. You will have the following demonstrated experience Ability to follow and maintain established sales processes while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders. A desire to exceed customer expectations and provide top‑notch service. Familiarity with Pentana, Era, and Dealer Socket systems, as well as automotive experience and technical knowledge, is desirable. Must be a team player, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and good PC skills. Holding an HR licence or willingness to obtain a heavy vehicle licence is necessary. A genuine interest in fostering relationships and understanding client needs is crucial. A winning, competitive spirit combined with reliability, honesty, and a well‑presented demeanour.
