Community Care / Support Workers - Hunter Join to apply for the Community Care / Support Workers – Hunter role at Bendigo Advertiser. Kinder Caring Home Support Services is urgently seeking experienced, motivated, and caring Support Workers to provide care to clients in the Hunter Region. Established in 1998, Kinder Caring is a Registered Provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and a Preferred Provider for the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and Workcover VIC. Responsibilities Access client information, document progress, and record hazards to ensure client safety and well‑being. Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship to clients. Work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet client needs. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Support Worker, Assistant in Nursing, Care Worker, or similar role. Experience supporting participants with complex care needs and/or mental health. Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or Individual Support (completed or working towards completing is highly desirable) or studying towards a nursing qualification. Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role. Regular background checks (Police Check, First Aid, CPR, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance).
