Position Overview The Capability and Skills Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our operational staff are equipped with the necessary training and support to excel in their roles. This position involves a thorough review and update of our Plant and Equipment and High-Risk Skills Competency training matrix to align with the evolving needs of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of competency-based training and assessment, as well as the ability to effectively document and integrate training requirements into our Learning Management System (LMS). As a part of the Corporate People and Culture Directorate, you will collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to enhance training delivery and outcomes, ensuring a safe and competent workforce. Candidate Profile We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about learning and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications Current NSW Driver’s Licence. Experience in learning needs analysis, particularly within infrastructure or safety-regulated environments. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data management. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in project management and process improvement. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
