Facilities Coordinator, Learning and Capability Join to apply for the Facilities Coordinator, Learning and Capability role at Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria. Overview Fixed‑term, full‑time position until 30 June 2026 based in Werribee. VPS Grade 4 role: $97,955 – $111,142 per year plus superannuation. Responsibilities Oversee daily facilities operations, maintenance, repairs, cleaning and security to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Coordinate with contractors and service providers to deliver timely, high‑quality, compliant works. Drive preventative maintenance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise facility performance. Ensure all facilities, equipment and systems meet operational, safety and legislative standards. Prepare and maintain training spaces, ensuring all rooms, equipment and amenities are ready to support learning delivery. Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues, enhance service delivery and improve facility operations. Qualifications Experience in building and maintenance repairs within a general building and construction environment. Well‑developed knowledge of legislation and policies relevant to building and maintenance, OH&S and security services. Relevant experience in coordinating specialist trades/contractors for specific works. Proven strong computer skills and ability to use internal databases and systems. Trade and/or Facilities Management background desirable. A current driver's licence is preferred but not essential. Working at Heights certification desirable. Requirements Candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check for the period of employment. Benefits Job stability as a member of the Victorian Public Service (VPS).
