Patient Support Officer – CCU – Targeted Our role as the front‑face of the Coronary Care Unit at John Hunter Hospital (Awabakal Land), you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This permanent, part‑time position (16 hours per week) offers a salary of $64,046.06–$66,170.25 plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging. Closing date: Monday 17 Nov. Requisition ID: REQ . Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors. Answer phones and respond to enquiries. Manage admissions, discharges, and patient transport. Prepare and distribute daily reports. Order supplies and maintain records and filing systems. Provide general administrative support to the team. About You Self‑starter who works autonomously and as part of a team. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Adaptable to changing priorities in a busy hospital environment. Clear and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
