Beerfarm was founded in 2015 on a 1940s dairy farm in Metricup, Margaret River. Once an old dairy farm, we converted the hay shed into a tavern, built a brewery in the roundhouse and created a name for both a destination and a brewery that would serve straight-up beer. Australian-owned and stridently independent, it’s been built on grit, determination and the desire to do better. We are more than just a purveyor of high-quality beer, ginger beer, and cider. Our unique taphouse in Metricup, WA, has become a go-to spot for both locals and travellers, serving ‘paddock to plate’ food experiences, and of course, great beer and good times. Plus, our new, cutting‑edge production facility in Perth is a game changer for the brand, as more fans discover our beers, ciders and more In essence, we are a farm, a brewery, a hospitality venue. We are driven to learn and progress as a team, continue doing things a little left of centre and make sure to have fun along the way. ‘Cultivating Good Times’ is what we’re all about and we’re on the hunt for team members who want to come along for the ride About The Role Based in our Bassendean facility, the full time Production Brewer is responsible for the brewing, cellaring, packaging, cleaning and maintenance within the Beerfarm brewery. In this role, you will work with other members of the team to ensure all beer that leaves the brewery is of the highest quality and to Beerfarm’s standards. You will also: Follow policies, procedures and specifications throughout the wort production processes; Contribute to Beerfarm’s focus on delivering unique and creative new products; Ensure CIP and general hygiene standards are implemented throughout all brewery tasks; Adhere to procedures regarding the cleaning and filling of kegs; Follow procedures regarding canning line start up and shut down procedures and ensure these are followed and complied with. About You Having come from all walks of life and different corners of the world… some from beer, some from good times and some simply from our parents, we are unified in the belief of doing things differently, doing things right. To be the perfect addition to our team, you will have a passion for all things beer and a minimum of 2 years commercial brewery experience. You will also: Be ready to live and breathe Beerfarm’s values of Genuine, Belonging, Considered and Pioneering; Have a ‘can do’ attitude to completing tasks and a good human who supports the team culture; Hold a valid Forklift License; Be experienced with brewing software; Be a team player who actively wants to work in an ambitious business within a production environment.
