About the opportunity The Manager Learning Design & Innovation plays a key role in coordinating curriculum development and design at the program level supporting the delivery of high-quality coherent educational offerings. Working within the Academic Division this role ensures curriculum proposals meet the University’s design expectations and align with academic standards regulatory requirements and institutional priorities. What You’ll Do Lead strategic planning and implementation of curriculum design initiatives across multiple programs. Coordinate curriculum mapping and design processes to ensure alignment with learning outcomes, academic standards and institutional frameworks. Support academic teams in the development of new curriculum applying curriculum theory and inclusive design principles. Apply quality assurance frameworks to enhance program performance and graduate outcomes. Provide day‑to‑day leadership and guidance to the Learning Design & Innovation team including the Instructional Designer Learning Innovation and the Learning Technologists. What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience in leading complex curriculum projects with cross‑institutional impact. Ability to influence policy and practice in curriculum design and academic quality. Strong understanding of curriculum theory, quality assurance frameworks and academic governance processes. Proven ability to lead and support a small team fostering collaboration and professional growth. Effective communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across academic and administrative contexts. Salary Details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 plus 17% superannuation.
