We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant who is eager to grow with us and assist in various areas of the business, from customer care to photoshoot & event planning. Position Overview We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to help us deliver top-tier support to our customers. You will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless customer experience and contributing to the brand’s voice across digital platforms. Customer Service Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional assistance via various communication channels (email, chat, dm’s etc.) Handle and process returns, exchanges, and product inquiries efficiently and empathetically via Loop Returns. Resolve customer issues, concerns and complaints in a timely manner, ensuring positive experiences, customer satisfaction and retention Manage Iconic order updates, changes and requests from their customer service team. Upload return Iconic PO’s to Shiphero for processing at the warehouse Assist with maintaining and updating our customer service FAQ and knowledge base Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and address customer inquiries effectively Admin Assistance Assist in the planning, coordination & execution of photoshoots Collaborate with the team to generate content ideas that resonate with our community and showcase our products in authentic ways based on community request & gaps in the market uncovered by daily customer service operations Other Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed Help with customer reviews and feedback management Support team members on special projects or events Support with TikTok content creation as needed Our Ideal Candidate Previous customer service experience, in a fast-paced environment is preferred (preferably in e-commerce or retail) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively Passion for fitness, activewear, and wellness Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach Proficiency Google Suite and MS Office Suite Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus Experience with Gorgias and Loop Returns is a plus Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively A positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a small, growing team What We Offer Ongoing learning & professional development and internal promotion opportunities Full time position Competitive salary In joining Active Basics, you will be joining a growing group of talented, fun and supportive individuals.
