Safety Advisor – Hanes Brands Australasia Location: Kew (Melbourne) or Pyrmont (Sydney) Be In Good Company. We’re looking for a passionate Safety Advisor to support our Retail network and help us drive a truly engaged, proactive safety culture. The Opportunity As our Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering safety and wellbeing strategy across a diverse and fast-paced retail environment. You will partner closely with retail leaders, operations teams, and People & Culture to influence safe behaviours, simplify safety systems, and build capability across stores. This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role where you will provide practical WHS guidance, support incident investigations, deliver training, and use data‑driven insights to improve safety performance across the network. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement safety and wellbeing initiatives aligned to our corporate strategy. Build strong partnerships with Retail Operations, Store Leaders and P&C teams. Conduct risk profiling, audits, pulse checks and recommend targeted improvement actions. Support and guide incident investigations, hazard reporting and database management. Develop safety dashboards, engage in safety training and help embed safe work practices across sites. Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with WHS legislation across designated regions. What You’ll Bring Experience in a WHS role, ideally in retail, logistics, hospitality or another fast‑paced operational environment. Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk assessment and incident investigation. Ability to influence, coach and build safety capability across operational teams and multiple regions of Australia. Strong data literacy with the ability to translate trends into actionable insights. A proactive, solution‑focused mindset and ability to work autonomously. Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or working toward).
