As they continue to expand their global reach, they are seeking an experienced Export Shipping & Documentation Supervisor to lead a small but vital administration team, overseeing all logistics, export documentation, and operational workflows that ensure seamless international trade. Your Role & Responsibilities: Export Operations Leadership: Oversee and coordinate all export logistics, including container and airfreight scheduling, ensuring the seamless and timely movement of product from site to global destination. Documentation Governance: Supervise the preparation, verification, and submission of all export documentation, maintaining full compliance with international trade and regulatory standards. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a small administration team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement across all export functions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, and warehouse teams to align dispatch schedules, forecast export volumes, and ensure operational efficiency. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain high standards of communication with customers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies to ensure exceptional service and trust across all touchpoints. Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance systems and procedures, implementing best practices to improve workflow, turnaround times, and data accuracy. What Set's You Apart: Minimum of five years’ experience in export shipping and/or documentation within the meat industry, with demonstrable experience supervising or mentoring teams. Able to plan, prioritise and delegate tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are consistently met across the team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all export and documentation processes. Articulate in both written and verbal communication. Ability to clearly convey instructions and updates to internal teams and external stakeholders. Comfortable with data entry, reporting and utilising export management systems. Capable of training and supporting team members in new processes. Maintain impeccable phone etiquette and client facing communication. Ability to uphold exceptional service standards. Proactively identify and resolve challenges, foreseeing issues and implementing resourceful solutions. Confidently support, motivate and develop a small administration team, contributing to a positive and productive working culture.
