The Opportunity As a Home care Employee with Carrington's Community team, you will provide person-centred, quality in-home care to support older persons to live independently in their homes. You will provide domestic tasks or personal care services in accordance with individual care plans to Support at Home (SaH) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to program participants in the Macarthur &/or Wollondilly region. You will enjoy a varied role, building rapport with our clients as you supporting them to meet their goals and enable continued choice and independence. We have Casual opportunities available providing services within the hours of 6:00am to 8:00pm, with rosters tailored to match your availability (e.g. school hours) and preferred travel region within Macarthur. Casual staff have the flexibility to be scheduled up to 3 months in advance, as well as the option to pick up shifts in the same week or on the same day. Responsibilities: Domestic tasks - such as cleaning, vacuuming, washing and meal preparation; or Personal care services - such as assistance with self-care, transport and social support. About You Reliable transport with comprehensive car insurance Current first aid certificate Required for Personal Care - Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) Right to work in Australia Completion of a pre-employment assessment and a National Criminal History check clearance during recruitment process Experience not essential for Domestic Support.
