Base pay range A$200,000.00/yr - A$250,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from saas nine Seed-Funded | Founding Team Role | Equity Available We’re assembling the founding team for a new, purpose-driven AI-powered wellbeing platform designed to support people navigating significant life changes. Backed by early seed capital and guided by a clear product vision, this is an opportunity to help shape a category-defining solution in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the consumer AI market. As our CTO / Technical Architect , you’ll play a foundational role in designing, building, and scaling the entire technology ecosystem — from the AI engine to the product infrastructure and long-term technical roadmap. This is a rare opportunity: it's early enough to define everything, and it's funded enough to build correctly. What You’ll Lead End-to-end ownership of the technical architecture , engineering decisions, and product delivery. Designing the core AI/LLM engine, including: personalised behaviour models journaling analysis and insight extraction data structuring and secure knowledge graphs conversational agents and intervention logic Building the platform from zero → MVP → V1 → scale. Establishing secure data pipelines and governance frameworks. Driving integration with: payment systems third-party AI tooling Choosing the tech stack and building the engineering culture. Leading vendor selection, cloud architecture, and MLOps setup. Working closely with the founder to refine product vision, scope, and delivery timelines. Hiring and guiding engineering talent as the company grows. Your Background You’re the kind of person who has built early-stage products before — someone who thrives in the sweet spot between vision, architecture, and hands‑on delivery. Experience Full-stack architecture for scalable B2C or B2B2C apps Data modelling, ETL pipelines, streaming or event-driven architectures DevOps & MLOps (CI/CD, containerisation, observability) Security, identity, and compliance frameworks (PII, SOC2, ISO) Leading or mentoring a small engineering team If you’ve previously been a CTO, Lead Engineer, Principal Architect , or a Staff-level AI engineer ready to step into a founding leadership role, this is ideal.
