About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Overseer to join our Civil Asset Maintenance team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will be part of a high‑performing team that carries out a varied range of operational and capital works within our road reserve, waterways, and reserves. You will use contractor management skills, adeptness at using computers, and a holistic approach to recommend maintenance solutions. Responsibilities Formulate strategies to maintain Council’s civil infrastructure at the highest service standards. Assist in the implementation of infrastructure asset improvement programs. Liaise with customers and the community as required. Provide recommendations and reviews of operational and capital works. Essential Qualifications and Experience Trade qualification or Certificate IV in a related field. Extensive experience in all aspects of civil asset maintenance. Solid knowledge of complex areas relating to the job. Strong communication skills when responding to internal and external customers. Current Class C driver’s licence. Remuneration and Benefits Entry level salary: $1,790.59 per week plus an additional 10.38% under Council’s flexibility agreement. 41‑hour working week. Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight.
