Medical Receptionist (Casual) – Western Dermatology Western Dermatology is a well-established and busy dermatology practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care services . Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a professional, respectful, and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team on a casual basis . This role is ideally suited to someone available Monday to Thursday afternoons (12 pm – 7 pm) , with the flexibility to provide occasional cover during staff leave . Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients in a warm, courteous, and professional manner Manage telephone enquiries , appointment bookings, and patient flow Process billing, payments, and claims (including Medicare, DVA, TCA, and WorkCover) Provide administrative support to dermatologists, including scanning, faxing, and managing follow-ups Assist with light cleaning and restocking of consulting rooms Administer UV therapy treatments (training provided; guided by established protocols) Assist with clinic opening and closing procedures (training provided) About You We are seeking a professional, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced specialist clinic environment .
