Provide active support to people with Disability in Toowoomba across Supported Independent Living (SIL). The people you will support are looking for passionate & highly skilled support workers who are experienced in providing complex health care supports, positive behaviour support, medication administration and personal care. An understanding of approved restrictive practices will also be highly regarded. We require you to be available to work Weekends and for Sleep over shifts. Commitment to accept and work shifts over national Holiday periods is also required. Experience with, and ability to work with clients with Behaviours is critical We have one Part time and one casual opportunity. Play a vital role in enhancing the comfort and well-being of our clients by supporting their personal care needs with respect and sensitivity. As part time employees joining ourSupported Independent Living (SIL)team, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster, including active nights. Key Responsibilities Follow person‑centred support and positive behaviour support plans Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities Maintain thorough record keeping Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues Advocate for client choice and control Skills & Experience Certificate III Individual Support Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework and approved restrictive practicesComplex health care support including medication administration A current First Aid and CPR Certificate Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check, Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
