Manager - Human Capital & Risk Compliance - Workforce & Industrial Relations The Human Capital Risk and Compliance Practice provides end‑to‑end services across industrial relations, employment law, payroll operations, risk assurance and data analytics. This role will shape future employment obligation management and collaborate with data analytics, senior stakeholders and complex clients. Responsibilities Support engagements and deliver client service across pay remediation analytics, payroll compliance reviews, internal audits, deal and industrial relations advisory support, and enforceable undertaking reviews. Complete client‑facing tasks under direction, delivering high quality work. Assist clients and multidisciplinary KPMG engagement teams to interpret and apply employment obligations under industrial instruments. Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues from data analytics, risk consulting, strategy and operations to provide practical, real‑world solutions. Demonstrate a learning and growth mindset by developing understanding and knowledge across service delivery. Take proactive ownership of goals and performance, seeking feedback and regular check‑ins with leaders. Technical Skills Interpret employment obligations from modern awards, enterprise agreements and legislation. Research and document legislative history, case law, regulatory guidance and commentary. Tailor application of entitlements and obligations to specific circumstances, including working arrangements and operational requirements. Leverage data to provide meaningful insights. Communicate complex concepts orally and in written form. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in details. Behavioural Attributes Curiosity to understand and explore application of knowledge domains. Proactive collaboration and consultation across team and stakeholders. Adaptability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems and navigate evolving client scenarios. Collaborative problem solving approach. Positive attitude to learning and developing across a multi‑disciplinary skill set. Your Experience Build trusted client relationships. Interpret and advise on employment obligations including modern awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and leave. Legal research including statutory and contractual interpretation. Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills. Contribute to reports for an executive level audience. Preferred (but not essential) Industry experience in industrial relations or in‑house employment law. Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams. Understanding of payroll systems and processes. Qualifications Law (admission to practice not required). Commerce or Business with specialisation in Human Resources or Employee Relations.
