About You: Must hold and maintain a NV1 security clearance. Demonstrated experience in Commonwealth procurement roles, preferably in Defence. Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and PGPA Act. Experience with Defence-related software and systems preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A qualified practitioner with higher degree qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years; and/or Certificate IV or Diploma of Procurement. About the Role: Responsible for delivery of: Procurement Activity and Support Administering procurements through the full life cycle including drafting documents throughout the procurement lifecycle (for e.g pre and post tender approvals, evaluation and negotiation plans etc.) Engaging with Commercial Software and Hardware, ICT, NMP, and Legal Branches; Providing expert advice and assistance on procurements and contract management to program and project teams; Reviewing of documents created by staff throughout the procurement lifecycle; and Capturing of data and periodic reporting on procurement processes and activities. Commercial Support to support contract managers with: Provide commercial support to program and project teams on a timely basis to ensure Service Providers are delivering outcomes in accordance with their contractual arrangements Provide vendor management support to ensure consistent communication and flow of information between vendors and the project teams; Support the evaluation of and negotiation with stakeholder engagement, dispute resolution, applying best practice and recommendation to contract issues; Negotiating terms and conditions and contracts About VSG: As a 100% Australian owned and operated consultancy with a DISP Level 3 membership, we’ve built a reputation as a trusted, expert, and reputable partner delivering impactful ICT and Cyber solutions to the nation’s most important programs.
