You’ll help enable research that changes lives, while building your own career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.To be successful in this position, you’ll have:* Demonstrated understanding of system administration practices, lifecycle management, and governance within enterprise or research management systems, including coordination with IT support functions and vendors.* Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with academic, professional staff and technical areas to understand challenges and deliver practical solutions.* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the capacity to assess complex issues and develop effective, data-informed, and sustainable solutions aligned with institutional objectives.* Demonstrated experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, and translating them into system configurations, workflows, and process improvements.* Proven ability to develop and maintain accurate documentation, including process maps, knowledge articles, training materials, and reports, ensuring clarity and version control.* Demonstrated capacity to work independently and proactively, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.**Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.****About the Portfolio**RMIT’s Research and Innovation Portfolio supports researchers to help shape the world.
