IT Support Lead

The Role Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the IT Support Lead position is a busy and challenging role. It is responsible for maintaining and updating databases, providing support to a vast range of users, and managing vendors and technical resolution. You will be the first point of contact when an issue is not resolved in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Serve as the IT Support leader and escalation point. Provide technical resolution, troubleshooting, and fault finding across a range of customised and off‑the‑shelf applications. Manage systems integration and testing. Analyse and refine information flows and data requirements. Delegate tasks and share work equally among team members. Ensure open tasks are completed in a timely manner, recording and monitoring requests, tasks, and projects against deadlines. Generate various reports from different systems as needed. Participate in all personal and team development opportunities, and manage report writing and documentation. Required Skills and Experience Active Directory: Knowledge and ability to manage users, profiles, configuration, and setup/add new laptops and computers to the domain. Email/Cloud: Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Barracuda, O365 Admin, and Exchange Online configuration. Virtualisation/Servers: VMware and Server management experience. ERP/WMS: Experience working with Microsoft BC ERP system and SCALE WMS (Australia, New Zealand & Canada), including functional changes, ILS, and integration configuration. (Knowledge in Sage ERP is useful but not essential). SQL Database Management: Knowledge in writing queries, managing views, store procedures, and creating/updating tables. Reporting: Competency in Microsoft Query Reporting (Excel reporting) and Power BI (creating and amending reports). Experience: Must have experience in some, if not all, of the following: application support, database programmer, integration, and IT analytics. Experience with testing frameworks, concepts of unit testing, and application integration testing is also valuable. About You You are an IT professional with excellent communication skills who enjoys servicing the needs of users in a multifaceted enterprise environment. You must be highly approachable, an excellent communicator, and passionate about delivering a high level of service to all users. This role places equally high focus on compassion & integrity as well as technical skills. You must be excited to learn new technologies and constantly aim to develop your interpersonal and technical skills. Qualifications Experience in a customer‑facing position. A positive and motivated attitude. Competency in all basic information technology skills. Ideally, an IT degree or other relevant technical qualifications, plus an Agile Certification.
