Base pay range A$140,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr About the Company A leading, well‑established organisation in the lighting sector, known for delivering high‑quality, innovative lighting solutions across commercial, industrial, and architectural projects. The team is expanding and looking for an experienced Sales Representative to support continued growth across Australia. About the Role As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across commercial builders, architects, designers, distributors, and end‑users. You’ll work closely with internal technical, design, and operations teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions and ensure customers receive a seamless experience from first contact to project delivery. You will: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across assigned territories. Drive new business by identifying opportunities within the commercial and architectural sectors. Manage and nurture long‑term relationships with key accounts and partners. Present lighting solutions, product demonstrations, and recommendations tailored to client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotes, proposals, and project specifications. Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM activity. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. About You (Experience Required) 5+ years’ experience in sales, ideally within lighting, electrical, building materials, or a closely related technical product. Strong track record of hitting sales targets and growing client portfolios. Experience partnering with architects, builders, designers, consultants, or contractors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand technical product information. Comfortable working in a hybrid model, managing both field‑based and office‑based activity. Nice to Have Experience with specification sales in the lighting or electrical industry. Technical understanding of lighting products, controls, or commercial fit‑out solutions. Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
