We’re looking for a HR Shared Services Lead ANZ to join Snackbrands Australia on a fixed term contract until October 2026, covering a maternity leave. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands‑on HR leadership with process improvement and systems management in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment across ANZ. Reporting to our HR Director ANZ (based in New Zealand), you’ll be based in our office at our new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing plant in Orchard Hills , Sydney, with flexibility to work from home a day a week. Snackbrands is proudly part of the Intersnack Group, a global snack food leader operating in over 30 countries. While internationally owned, we manufacture locally and proudly produce some of Australia’s favourite snacks — including CC’s, Thins, Cheezels, Kettles, and The Natural Chip Company. As the HR Shared Services Lead, no day will be the same as you oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of HR operations across our ANZ business, including managing employee documentation, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and acting as the key link with payroll. You’ll drive consistency by standardising processes, maintaining and developing policies, and producing insightful reporting and analysis. With a focus on efficiency and systems management, you’ll play a pivotal role in streamlining processes and enhancing the employee experience. What you’ll be responsible for: Leading, engaging and developing one direct report HR Shared Services Specialist, also based in Orchard Hills. Preparing and managing employee documentation, including employment agreements and contract variations Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date employee records Acting as the key interface with payroll to ensure seamless operations Overseeing all onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a smooth employee experience Producing HR reporting and analysis, including turnover insights and broader workforce metrics Maintaining and developing HR policies to ensure relevance and compliance Driving standardisation of HR processes across Australia and New Zealand Managing HR systems and processes to ensure efficiency and reliability Ensuring all compliance requirements are met and adhered to What you’ll bring to the role: 5+ years of proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a Shared Services environment Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation (bonus points for New Zealand experience) Tertiary qualification in HR or business Experience in FMCG or other unionised environments is highly desirable Strong systems capability, with solid Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail High levels of integrity and accountability, always owning your decisions and doing what you say you will Excellent organisational, time management, and planning skills to thrive in a fast‑paced environment A passion for process improvement, efficiency, and consistency A genuine enthusiasm for administration, systems, and driving operational excellence What can you expect in return?
