We are seeking an experienced Events Operations Lead to join our Managed Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional, high-quality event experiences across a major university located in the Melbourne CBD. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of event technicians, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. Plan, schedule and oversee the successful delivery of events, including AV setup, live operation and pack-down. Manage rostering, daily workflows and operational priorities across multiple campus locations. Act as the primary point of contact for event-related matters, building strong relationships with university stakeholders. Monitor service performance and prepare operational reports relating to event activity, resource utilisation and client feedback. Identify opportunities for process improvement, enhanced efficiency and improved customer experience. Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience in event operations or AV event delivery (large venue or tertiary experience advantageous). Strong leadership capability with experience managing frontline or technical teams. Solid understanding of AV systems and live event requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience preparing clear operational or performance-based reports. Desirable Experience in a multi-site or complex operational environment. Understanding of WHS practices in event or technical environments. Exposure to ITIL, SLA frameworks or service delivery environments. What's in it for you?
