As an Assistant in Nursing, you will be part of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of person-centred care; support other nurses and care roles; and ensure exceptional, safe and compassionate care. Responsibilities Provide nursing assistance in the intensive care unit while collaborating with registered nurses and multidisciplinary team. Support patient care activities, including monitoring, hygiene, mobilisation, and medication assistance as per protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation. Advocate for patient safety and quality of care. Participate in ongoing professional development and education programmes. Selection Criteria Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (HLT33115) or equivalent OR 2nd or 3rd year Undergraduate Nursing Student. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management skills. Computer skills including the ability to use a variety of office and health related software applications. Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions.
