We are now opening three new venues under one roof, each with its own rhythm and style. This is a rare foundation role in a precinct with history behind it and momentum ahead of it. We’re searching for a Venue Manager who can drive culture, lead people confidently, and elevate both guest experience and commercial performance. Someone with presence — and the ability to inspire. THE ROLE This position oversees venue operations across multiple concepts within the King & Godfree building, ensuring service quality, communication and culture stay consistent across all sites. You will: Lead teams across a range of service environments Build opening culture, training discipline and hospitality behaviour standards Strengthen guest experience — creating regulars, not just visitors Oversee safety, HR process compliance and incident documentation Manage rosters, labour planning + workforce performance Collaborate closely with culinary leadership to maintain flow and quality Influence COGs, ordering systems, yield & stock integrity Contribute to profitability through operational decisions and coaching Communicate with clarity, empathy and presence — daily WHO YOU ARE Strong people leadership — calm, confident, relational Experience working in venues with structure, standards and pace Understanding of OHS and HR compliance, and comfort applying it Financial awareness — COGs, labour cost, waste & margin impact Ability to unite BOH + FOH into one team, not two departments A communication style that builds respect, trust and followership Passion for hospitality culture — the room, the rhythm, the guest You lift people around you. You lead with momentum and meaning.
