We have an opportunity for a Strategy Lead to take the driver’s seat in shaping the future of Victoria’s transmission network. You’ll deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to AusNet’s Transmission leadership team, helping guide strategic direction and planning. Join us as an in-house strategy consultant, tackling complex challenges alongside exceptional peers - without the long hours of traditional consulting. This role sits within the Transmission Strategy & Regulation team located at Freshwater Place in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Responsibilities This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Leading strategic deep dives and simplifying complex energy topics Driving long-term strategic agendas and implementation pathways Supporting leadership decision-making through analysis and reporting Collaborating across business units and contributing to portfolio-wide strategy Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to shape AusNet’s position in the energy transition Qualifications You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for someone with a strong consulting toolkit and a good combination of: Strong communication skills, especially in storylining Analytical and problem-solving capabilities (structured thinking) Professional polish and presence to engage at board level Strategic experience in energy or consulting (MBB/Big 4 a bonus) Collaborative, personable, and proactive mindset Benefits We believe in more than just competitive pay.
