Medical Receptionist

Specialist medical and surgical dermatology practice is seeking a professional, personable, and experienced Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our close knit team. We are based in Broadmeadow, which is in the heart of Newcastle, NSW. This position requires a 3 – 4 day commitment per week. On the job training will be provided for software and other systems being used within the practice. Qualifications & experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role A minimum of 12 months of medical receptionist experience is preferable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to details Proficiency in using medical software and standard office technology Willing to learn and support other team members Reliable Tasks & responsibilities Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner, recognising patient privacy and confidentiality Handling patient inquiries and booking appointments efficiently Assisting with medical billing and processing of payments Respond to email enquiries Teamwork and support of other staff Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and organised #J-18808-Ljbffr
