Due to an internal promotion, Newcastle Basketball is now looking for an organised, proactive and relationship-driven Representative Coordinator to join our team This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the success of our junior and senior representative programs—supporting players, coaches and families throughout every stage of the season. About the Role Reporting to the Manager of Basketball Operations, the Representative Coordinator manages the day‑to‑day operations of our representative teams. You’ll oversee the full season cycle—from trials and pre‑season administration right through to competition planning, home game support and end‑of‑season events. What You’ll Do You’ll be the central organiser for all things representative basketball, including: Coordinating administrative requirements across trials, pre‑season, competition phases and presentation events Working with the Manager of Basketball Operations and Basketball NSW to build the annual representative calendar Managing paperwork and compliance such as nominations, registrations, accreditations and required forms Supporting and growing our representative community to enhance program delivery Guiding team managers and ensuring consistent application of policies and processes Coordinating uniform and equipment orders, stocktake and distribution Providing on‑the‑ground support at home games and tournaments Maintaining strong relationships with associations, sponsors, coaches, parents and players Attending meetings and events as a key representative of Newcastle Basketball What You’ll Bring Minimum 3 years’ experience in sport administration or coordinating sporting teams (basketball experience ideal) Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach Confidence using Microsoft Office and sports administration platforms (e.g., membership databases, Team App) Working With Children Check Experience working with representative basketball teams Knowledge of basketball rules, competitions and structures Why You’ll Love Working With Us Be part of a passionate, community‑driven organisation Play a key role in shaping the experience of our representative athletes Supportive leadership and a positive team culture Opportunities to contribute ideas and improve processes A role with impact—where your work genuinely matters If this sounds like the role for you, please apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
