Permanent, full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) based in Hobart About us: Anglicare Tasmania is a non-profit organisation providing a wide range of community services to the people of Tasmania. About the Role: The Employee Relations Coordinator provides a broad range of human resources and industrial relations support, acting as a key partner to managers and employees. The role combines specialist knowledge with generalist responsibilities, delivering timely advice on employee relations, performance management, and workplace culture. Working collaboratively across the organisation, the Employee Relations Coordinator supports change processes, training, and workforce initiatives to ensure compliance and foster a positive, productive environment. The successful applicant will possess demonstrable competency, knowledge, understanding and/or skills in the following areas: Sound knowledge regarding contemporary human resource practices including current industrial relations requirements and the ability to interpret and analyse legislation and the industrial instruments under which Anglicare operates Demonstrated experience partnering with managers and teams to deliver effective HR solutions and outcomes that support organisational objectives Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Well-developed, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills Ability to liaise with and relate to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including unions) Experience in environments where information is private or confidential Able to work energetically, positively and productively as part of a larger team to provide support that meets the needs of customers while adhering to regulatory and policy and procedural requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications and clearly demonstrated experience or experience deemed to be the equivalent. Proficient computer literacy skills including the capacity to use word processing, database, Excel, and Outlook applications What we offer you: an attractive salary of $111,505 to $116,425 a 7% Graduate Loading is payable when you hold a degree in a relevant discipline not-for-profit salary packaging available that can increase your take home pay a friendly and supportive work environment. The successful applicant will be required to: provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months) provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16 provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence. On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
