Role The Investigations Adviser is part of a team of expert advisers supporting investigations into employee conduct and performance matters, and child safety related allegations. Reporting to the Manager, Conduct and Performance Investigations, the Investigations Adviser will be expected to : provide procedural assistance and advice to managers, Early Learning Centre directors and Victorian government school principals in their management of complaints and allegations of employee misconduct, and in the implementation of unsatisfactory performance procedures, and allegations related to child safety (reportable conduct) prepare high quality written materials including investigation reports, briefings and correspondence build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including advice to senior decision-makers deliver service-focused and responsive complaint handling, and maintain accurate records on official systems demonstrate the Public Sector Values and follow departmental policies and procedures in executing duties contribute to branch reporting, operations and system improvement activities and projects About You This role requires a proactive individual, who has experience working in a sensitive, confidential environment. You will be a team player, someone who can support and motivate those around you.
