Role As the Aboriginal Health Worker you will be an integral part of a collaborative, professional team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, culturally sensitive care. In this role, you will: Coordinate Personal Health Record developmental checks for children aged 0‑5 years. Facilitate connections between families and health services, providing valuable guidance and support. Engage in community development initiatives through networking and building strong relationships for better health outcomes. We are seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker with experience working with children and families, excellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in dynamic work environments, and enthusiasm for community networking and development. As part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. Located on Dharawal Country, Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services. Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site. Benefits Of Working With ISLHD.
