City of Melbourne, Österreich Matryx Consulting Vollzeit

Security Contract Delivery Manager / Account Manager Matryx has been appointed to oversee the delivery of physical security (both electronics and manpower) to a large portfolio of properties across Victoria. Your role is to ensure our client receives maximum benefit from their security expenditure and that Matryx exceeds its service and delivery obligations. Responsibilities: Oversight of security service delivery across both electronic security and manpower providers, including: Pre‑approving contractor invoices before submission to the client. Monitoring contractor performance against SLA obligations and overall service quality. Coordinating and leading monthly performance meetings with service providers. Identifying opportunities to lift contract performance, simplify processes, and improve client satisfaction. Driving improved security outcomes and reduced risk through innovation, operational insights, and consistent oversight. Responsibility for Matryx’s service delivery to the client, including: Conducting security risk assessments for selected properties within the portfolio. Ensuring all scheduled risk assessments are delivered on time and in line with contract requirements. Reviewing and approving all risk assessments and recommendations prior to client submission. Maintaining oversight of incidents to ensure they are properly reviewed, actioned, and closed. Leading monthly client meetings and presenting clear, accurate monthly reports. Ensuring full compliance with all Matryx‑related SLA commitments. Continually identifying and delivering opportunities for added value, stronger insights, and measurable improvement for the client. About you: The ideal person for this role is outcome‑focused, practical, and able to see the security environment as one connected ecosystem. You should be confident identifying gaps in performance and opportunities for improvement and bringing vendors and client stakeholders into a single, coordinated operating picture. You care about security in a genuine way, with a strong bias toward improving safety, clarity, and value rather than simply delivering activity. You communicate clearly, push back when advice is vendor‑driven or misaligned with our purpose and maintain steady leadership and accountability. Above all, you follow through, close gaps, and ensure the contract delivers meaningful, measurable improvement for the client. Requirements: Security risk management qualifications OR valuable industry exposure in operational security environments OR preferably both. A Victorian security advisers license or eligibility to obtain one. Ability to undertake both regional and national travel as needed. Desire to operate in the consulting space and perform the role of trusted adviser diligently and with the utmost integrity. Eagerness to positively contribute to Matryx, its future success and growth. Ability to commence the role in March 2026. Permanent, full‑time (4 or 5 days) with two days expected to be office‑based within the Melbourne CBD with the rest working from home (hybrid). A suitable salary package will be agreed with the preferred candidate. About Matryx. We are a small team of passionate and compassionate security and risk professionals who genuinely love helping others. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: security is not just about systems and compliance—it’s about protecting people. We partner with organisations that share our commitment to creating safer environments, going beyond the checkbox mentality. Our focus is on meaningful work that makes a real difference. Whether it’s designing robust security strategies or guiding teams toward excellence, we pour our hearts into every project, knowing that the safety of people often depends on it.
