About The Job This role offers a mix of consulting office work and short‑term site‑based projects. Your workload will include: Preparing lift plans and drawings using Crane Expert and AutoCAD Monitoring lifting activities to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications Conducting crane audits and inspections and reporting on outcomes Writing SWMS for specialised works and conducting inductions Preparing quotations for specific jobs and handling the operations Depending on experience, you may also get involved with mechanical and structural design using AutoCAD, interpreting and applying standards for design and analysis, and maintenance project management Requirements Hold an engineering degree with good academic performance Interest in all things to do with cranes, rigging and heavy lifting Desire to expand engineering skills into other areas Heavy industrial, mining or construction site experience Confident communicator focused on developing relationships with clients and stakeholders Problem solver with client‑focused mindset Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work Up for a challenge and keen to try new things Enjoy the friendly environment of a tight‑knit team Location We are based in Cranbourne West, Melbourne. Depending on interests, scope of work can be increased by doing site inspections across Victoria and training will be provided.
