We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals for a 6-week contract starting immediately . This hands‑on role involves general labouring, animal care, shed and farm maintenance, and cleaning. You must be physically fit, comfortable working with poultry, able to work on your feet for long periods, and willing to follow strict biosecurity, animal welfare, hygiene, and safety procedures. Weekend work is required as part of this position. Responsibilities Conduct shed checks, remove floor eggs, and clear deceased birds. Operate basic machinery and work in production rooms. Grade, pack, and handle eggs to commercial standards. Handle chemicals and complete QA paperwork. Perform basic groundskeeping and laundry duties. Report safety, quality, and biosecurity issues promptly. Requirements Be punctual and reliable. Team player (ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels). A current car license and reliable transport. Previous hatchery or farm work experience (desirable). Be fit and healthy (be able to work on your feet all day). Meet Quarantine standards (no contact with live birds, chooks, or pigs) + (follow shower on procedures).
