Sales Manager – Melbourne, Australia We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to lead our Business Development team in Melbourne. You’ll be responsible for building, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team of BDMs focused on signing independent restaurants and hospitality groups across the city. About The Role As the Melbourne Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of 5–10 Business Development Managers (BDMs) to drive rapid venue acquisition. Your job is to create structure, drive performance, and coach your team to consistently hit daily activity targets and weekly sign‑up goals. You’ll work closely with Sales and Revenue Leadership and play a key leadership role in shaping our go‑to‑market strategy in Melbourne. You’ll use tools like HubSpot and Gong to monitor activity, coach calls, and manage pipeline performance, while creating a fast‑paced, high‑output sales culture. What You’ll Be Doing Hire, coach, and manage a team of BDMs responsible for signing restaurants across Melbourne Lead daily stand‑ups, 1:1 coaching sessions, and weekly pipeline reviews Set clear expectations for outreach volume, meeting activity, and weekly sign‑up targets Create a culture of urgency, ownership, and performance Drive sales execution and coaching Use HubSpot for activity tracking, pipeline management, and performance reporting Use Gong to review rep calls, provide feedback, and lift call quality and conversion rates Drive blitz days and localised launch initiatives in key hospitality districts Provide hands‑on support in the field when needed, leading from the front Collaborate with Marketing and SDRs to generate pipeline and run local campaigns Feed market insights back into targeting, messaging, and product strategy Support territory planning, hiring, onboarding, and team expansion as we scale Contribute to the development of EatClub’s Melbourne sales playbook What We’re Looking For 2–4+ years of sales leadership experience in high-volume, SMB-focused environments Proven success managing teams of 5–10 reps and consistently hitting aggressive growth targets Comfortable leading from the front, running in-person demos, drop‑ins, and cold calls Experience in SaaS, food tech, marketplaces, or hospitality tech is highly preferred Strong coaching skills with a track record of lifting individual and team performance Comfortable using HubSpot, Gong, or similar tools to drive structured execution Hands‑on, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven sales environment Passionate about hospitality and supporting independent venues to grow What’s In It For You Lead the sales team in one of EatClub’s fastest-growing markets Play a key leadership role with significant ownership and influence Competitive base salary + uncapped commission Hybrid working environment with field sales, office collaboration, and flexibility Join a global hospitality tech scale‑up with big ambitions and strong backing Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Hospitality Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EatClub by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
