Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)Director Position at exclusive North Adelaide Community Childcare CentreMackinnon Parade Children’s Centre (MPCC) is a community children’s centre nestled in beautiful North Adelaide, providing high quality programs for children from birth to 5 years. We offer a 75-place service with high staff child ratios; a qualified and experienced team and above award pay and conditions.We value our relationships with children, families, staff, and the community. We are proud of our natural environments and play-based approach to learning, providing children with opportunities for safe risk-taking that supports their development and independence.MPCC has invested in significant renovations in recent years and offer new, refreshing, and spacious environments for our children, staff and visitors.What we offer:Negotiated above award salary package.Additional 2 weeks paid leave over Christmas (6 weeks total).A strong leadership team to work with.Newly renovated facilities.Paid professional development and support.Inclusive and positive culture with experienced and committed staff.Employee assistance program.Administration, Assistant Directors and Educational Leader support.The successful applicant will provide evidence of:Strong relationship and communication skills that demonstrate their experience at leading a community.Examples of how they engage, consult with and develop staff in line with a strategic plan.Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, think strategically and use initiative.Experience working at engaging, and working with families, staff and board members to build stronger partnerships and a shared vision.The successful applicant will have:Experience in early childhood leadership.Experience in managing a business including meeting legal requirements, managing finances and budgets.An ability to lead, engage, consult with and support staff.Strong knowledge of the ECEC Regulations and Law, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Ability to adapt quickly, think strategically and use initiative.Experience working with Stakeholders, including Board members.Relevant working with children and police checks.You will be pivotal in our strategic planning and influencing the direction of our programs and service.
