FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISORJoin our team as the Food & Beverage Supervisor at The Star Brisbane.The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.The Food & Beverage Supervisor position is a hand on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of F&B outlets. The role will enable you to improve guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism. You will oversee and assist F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlets are prepared and organised to meet business requirements.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for food and beverage in BrisbaneA few of your responsibilitiesSupervise team members and assist the leadership team with any training and development needed for team membersMonitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure high standards are always maintainedEnsure a high level of guest experience is always provided in the venues and is professional, hospitable, timely, effective, and efficientSet specific daily performance objectives for all team members and supervise the service flowMake recommendations to the Venue Manager that will assist in maximising revenue and minimise costs to meet company and division budgetsWhat we are looking forPrevious supervisory experience in a similar roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccreditation in Responsible Service of AlcoholThe ability and knowledge to build rapport with a diverse range of guestsAbout youDo you thrive in a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere where every interaction creates a memorable experience? You will have proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your ability to lead, mentor and encourage your team. Your thorough understanding of RSA compliance coupled with your RSA Certificate, will see you create a safe environment for guests and team members alike.You’ll bring a track record of Food & Beverage leadership, preferably in high volume bars, restaurants, or hotels, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire teams. Communication is your forte, effortlessly connecting with a diverse range of guests to create memorable guest experiences.Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our food and beverage operations at the Star Brisbane.
