Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Workers to join our Residential Aged Care home in Toowoomba, a 78-bed facility committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. About the Role As an Environmental Service Worker, you'll support the daily operations of our facility, helping to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with food preparation and food service Setting up and cleaning the dining areas Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen, communal areas and resident rooms Laundering of resident clothing, towels and linen Supporting infection control and hygiene standards About You We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and take pride in their work. Our ideal candidate will have: Essential Proven experience in commercial food preparation, food service, or cleaning A strong understanding of food safety practices Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) Valid Australian work rights (Sponsorship not available for this role) Most importantly, you'll align with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.
