Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Access Consultant to join our growing team across Australia New Zealand. You will help future‑prove our environments by addressing access needs as we age, while providing accessibility advice that enables access for people with disability now. Our projects are varied and located across the country, ranging from large commercial buildings, airports, schools and transport infrastructure to name just a few. In this role you will have an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team that includes professionally skilled individuals and peers with lived experience of disability. Responsibilities Design and assess documentation/architectural drawings to provide the best solutions for Access strategies. Liaise with clients and prepare written reports outlining recommendations for action, based on the principles of universal design, the objectives of the DDA and the minimum compliance requirements of the National Construction Code/Building Code of Australia. Collaborate with clients to help their understanding of accessibility and the difference between ‘compliance’ and function, and upgrade their Access safety measures. Enjoy site visits to view progression and completion of the large projects. Collaborate with all different service line teams across a wide range of projects. Work alongside Senior Managers on larger complex projects. Requirements and Qualifications Must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident. Love to collaborate with colleagues, clients and other teams within the projects. Familiar with the construction industry. Be familiar with the Workplace Health and Safety requirements for office and onsite.
