Our client is a leading international real estate group with a diversified portfolio of office and retail properties across Australia, seeking a highly experienced General Manager to oversee their Australian property operations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team and driving the strategic direction of our business in this key market. This is a full-time role based in Sydney, NSW. What you'll be doing Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to sustain and grow revenue, identify value‑add and repositioning opportunities, and drive long‑term asset value creation. Financial Management: Oversee full P&L, budgets, and forecasts; monitor portfolio performance and returns; and ensure disciplined financial delivery. Leasing & Tenants: Optimise tenant mix and occupancy, strengthen tenant relationships, and ensure leasing strategies align with business goals. Operations & Projects: Lead property and facilities management to ensure compliance, service quality, and efficiency; oversee enhancement and capital works projects. Leadership & Stakeholders: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, manage consultants and service providers, and represent the business with key partners and authorities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years’ experience in commercial real estate, with strong exposure to asset operations and financial management. Proven track record in asset value creation, business planning, financial management and capital projects. Deep understanding of the Australian commercial property market and regulatory framework.
