What You’ll Do: Drive Growth & Innovation Lead and coach the FSQ (Food Safety & Quality) team on site at the Rooty Hill facility Establish annual objectives, strategies and plans to drive improvements in FSQ (Food Safety & Quality) Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Quality Management System which meets the requirements of the General Mills Food Safety and Regulatory Matters System Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement Monitor internal and external performance with respect to General Mills specifications and procedures, and lead corrective actions Report to the organizations site leadership team on the effectiveness and sustainability of the Food Safety Management System Manage relevant training and education of the Food Safety Team members Ensure the Food Safety Management System is established, implemented and maintained What you will bring: 5 years + experience managing an Food Safety & Quality team within a multinational consumer food company and in a Multi‑cultural environment Computer literate – SAP, ERP system, Microsoft Packages Relationship building, Influencing skills coupled with strong verbal communication skills Previous experience of international exposure and sensitivity to the varied market needs and business cultures within an international group. Evidence of having developed successfully Technical projects in an international environment. Proven strong project management skills Evidence of good strategic skills; good analytically – can see underlining or hidden problems and patterns. Developer of people; builds team spirit; faces difficult situations with tenacity and calm. Strong influencing skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong personal networks both internally and externally Good business acumen. Ability to relate to business peers and make business connection possibilities. Degree in Food Science & Technology, Engineering or a relevant technical area Experience in food, beverage or FMCG environment would be highly regarded Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and QA principles and application HACCP, Auditing qualifications Ready to Make Your Mark?
