Overview Toongabbie Christian College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College in the western suburbs of Sydney. The College is a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church. Our purpose is providing a Christ-centred education for life and eternity. Toongabbie Christian College seeks to appoint Casual OOSH Educators who will: Maintain a commitment to a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ Demonstrate ongoing commitment to the College’s Purpose and Purpose Statements Commit to a growing understanding of the place of education, teaching and learning from a Biblical Worldview Set an example to students, staff and parents/carers in matters of faith and conduct Responsibilities Hourly rate $33.71 pending experience/qualifications The role could include: Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care Preference will be given to candidates who are:Available for After School Care on Thursday afternoons from 2.15pm to 6.30pm AND Available for Vacation Care from 11 – 22 December 2025 and 13 – 23 January 2026 Employment is in accordance with the current NSW Christian Schools General Staff MEA Role description available at Qualifications Experience in a child care environment/qualifications/a desire to work with children in an OOSH environment Application documents Completed and signed Toongabbie Christian College General Staff Employment Application form, available at CV to demonstrate suitability for the role, including qualifications, relevant experience, current position responsibilities and employment history All application documents must be submitted as a single PDF via email – Current Working With Children Check or an ability to obtain such a check Evidence of a current First Aid credential or a commitment to obtain such a credential by the commencement date meeting the following requirement HLTAID012 – Provide first aid in an education and care setting Application process Submit completed and signed application via email only – Indicate in subject line the following: Application: Casual OOSH Educators SUBMIT APPLICATION AS A SINGLE PDF WHICH INCLUDES ALL RELEVANT DOCUMENTATION Specific enquiries regarding this role may be addressed to Mrs Bronwynne Pocknall or Selection process Closing date for applications Friday, 31 October at 2.00pm Shortlisted candidates will be informed by Thursday, 6 November 2025 Interviews are set for Monday, 10 November 2025 from 12.30pm.
