The Role We’re seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Fraud Analyst to strengthen the integrity of ACS’s programs and services. In this role, you’ll support fraud detection, quality assurance, and risk oversight across Migration Pathways and broader Operations functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that ACS continues to operate as a trusted authority for digital skills and professional standards, helping protect the organisation, its customers, and the broader community. This role is expected to commence in early 2026. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Quality Assurance Deliver fraud detection, investigations, and risk monitoring activities across Migration Pathways. Manage fraud‑related processes including escalations, internal audits, sampling, and natural justice procedures. Monitor and review high‑risk employers, internships, and agents to support legitimate IT employment outcomes. Support continuous improvement by adopting new technologies, process updates, and regulatory changes. Provide training and guidance to Operations teams to strengthen fraud awareness and quality assurance. Advocacy & Subject Matter Expertise Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Migration, CX, IT, Legal, Governance) to improve quality assurance frameworks and strengthen ACS’s risk posture. Work with broader Operations teams, including Workforce Development, Learning, Skills, Standards, Certification, and Service to identify fraud patterns and enable continual improvement. Contribute expertise to strategic partnerships and evolving program needs. Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate fraud‑related risks that could impact ACS, its customers, or products. Support and influence a strong organisational risk culture. Assist with developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies across Operations. Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with relevant governance, policy, and regulatory obligations. Support efficient and scalable QA systems and reporting to achieve strong outcomes at optimal cost. About You You are analytical, thorough, and motivated to protect the integrity of programs and services. You enjoy working with data, identifying inconsistencies, and collaborating with others to solve problems. You balance fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism with strong technical rigour. You Will Bring Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Criminology, Business, Law, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Risk/Compliance, or equivalent experience. 3‑5yrs experience in fraud analysis, investigations, quality assurance, compliance, or risk management, ideally within a regulated, assessment, education, migration, or NFP environment. Experience conducting case reviews, audits, data validation, or evidence assessments. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory frameworks, policies, and standards with accuracy. Strong data and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with reporting dashboards or data interrogation tools. Experience with case management or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous. Excellent written communication skills for drafting investigation reports, audit findings, and escalation summaries. High level of attention to detail, judgement, and discretion in handling confidential information.
