As we embark on our next phase of development, we are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.Position Overview:As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and spearheading our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling businesses, adeptly managing finances across borders, and successfully executing mergers and acquisitions.Responsibilities:Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives, both domestically and internationally.Provide strategic guidance to the CEO and board of directors on financial matters, risk management, and investment opportunities.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to optimise financial performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Lead and mentor our bookkeeper and administrator, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Evaluate and negotiate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to drive expansion and maximise shareholder value.Manage relationships with external stakeholders. Including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field: MVA or CPA preferred.Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a growth-oriented company, preferably with some global/cross territory operations experience.Demonstrated success in growing and scaling businesses, with a strong understanding of international finance and regulatory requirements.Track record of leading successful mergers, acquisitions, or business divestitures.Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and empowering teams to achieve their full potential.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.Location:This position is based in Brisbane, Australia.
