Lifting Equipment Certifier– Position Description Role Overview: We are seeking a physically capable and safety-conscious individual to conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment and ensure strict compliance with workplace safety standards. This role is not suitable for those uncomfortable with hands‑on inspections, working at heights, or in industrial environment. Your key responsibilities include but not limited to: On and off-site inspections and testing of lifting equipment. Maintenance and service repairs on products. Build strong relationships with customers and provide quality advice on products and services. 100% commitment to personal and business safety. Ability to liaise with and work on customer sites. Making and assembling customer orders for products, including load resistant equipment, chain and lifting accessories, hoist and winch equipment, shackles, slings, and all other manufactured equipment. Ensuring all rigging, lifting, height‑safety, material handling and confined space equipment is produced to a high quality, compliant with relevant industry standards. Working at heights when required. Not Suited For: Struggle with maintaining focus or pace in demanding environments. Require constant supervision or reminders to meet targets. Prefer repetitive, low‑intensity tasks over proactive fieldwork. Are unwilling to take initiative or ownership of responsibilities. Exhibit low personal accountability or resistance to feedback. Applicants looking for desk-based or low‑activity roles. Those unable or unwilling to perform physical inspections. Individuals unfamiliar with industrial work settings or safety inspections. Hands‑on experience with lifting gear and safety systems. A willingness to learn about WHS regulations and inspection standards.
